The new title, Call of Duty Vanguard, is bringing the series back to its roots by taking us to World War II, a setting where Call of Duty always thrives, and it makes sense when you consider the game’s history with World War II. However, it’s time for the next Call of Duty game to take center stage, as is the trend with the series each year. Call of Duty Modern Warfare kicked off the latest generation of COD games by introducing Warzone, and Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War continued the trend, leaving the series at one of the best points it’s ever been at. Lately, Activision has been knocking it out of the park with their Call of Duty titles.
